The late Rev. Paul Murphy, a United Methodist Minister called sex “God’s Great Gift.” His new book Cherishing Life and Love, a collection of his writings certainly expresses the message of sex and sexual expression in loving ways being truly a gift.
Aloe Cadabra gets a great review from Rori at Between My Sheets!
When the makers of Aloe Cadabra Lubricant contacted me and wanted to send me a complimentary bottle, I jumped at the chance to review it. Little known fact about me: I really do care about the environment and try to “go green” as often as my wallet allows. In the world of sex, going green also has a huge additional benefit – organic products are typically safer for your body. So when I found out that Aloe Cadabra is made with 95% organic aloe vera, I was on board.
Many slang words do not reflect the positive affirmation of the body. It is difficult for many to even say the word “vagina.” In seminars for trauma survivors, women have named their vagina’s Virginia or Flower, whatever comes lovingly to mind. Later someone sent me a T-Shirt with the printing “I Love Virgina” (naming the state of Virginia)…which was then was changed by several women to “I Love My Virginia.” Later on, it became easier to say “vagina.”
Awakening to Life Over 50: Two views….Two beliefs
Two women were having a conversation about menopause. One woman was celebrating her 50th birthday, the other was 60. The 50 year old has tears when she said that life was over at 50, she was shriveling up. The other said that 60 was an incredible time to create, discover, and play. These two women had very different reactions to aging. They went on to talk about sex, and sexual expression. The 60 year old was obviously passionate about her new adventures in love making, with herself and with her partner. She experiments with several lubricants that keep her “juices flowing and the fun happening.” She plays with Aloe Cadabra and the three scents, which she calls “flavors.” Those are Natural Aloe, French Lavender and Tahitian Vanilla. She felt deeper within herself, who she has become, and how she expresses herself. She is having FUN. The 50 year old listened, and perhaps soon will begin a great and wonderful journey at 50. This conversation would not be complete without luscious desserts and good wine.
Moral of the story: Mental attitude is a key to great fun!
We here at Aloe Cadabra and Seven Oaks Ranch wish you and your family a fun and happy Thanksgiving. And we wish you and your lover a juicy, delicious Thanksgiving filled with lubricity!
