reduce cancer risk by flossing your teeth Flossing your teeth prevents inflammation that may lead to cancer

Taking good care of your gums helps to prevent cancer. Gum disease is caused by sticky, bacteria-laden plaque that forms on teeth. According to a new study, women with gum disease are 14 percent more likely to develop cancer than those with healthy teeth and gums.
