Most people who struggle with sleep and seek help, only receive sleeping pills.
That is not a helpful, long-term solution.
A new study shows that learning how to worry less about sleep is helpful for people with insomnia. Participants in the study either received four sessions of cognitive-behavioral therapy or four sessions of mindfulness-based therapy.
The researchers found that both treatments were equally effective.
